Fused cast AZS brick component

Fused cast AZS brick commonly known as iron tin brick or fused cast zirconia-alumina brick. It is the most important refractories for normal operation of glass furnace , the current domestic and foreign glass furnace improve melting rate, extend kiln age, reduce fuel consumption was mainly due to the use of this refractory material. AZS brick can also be called corundum - baddeleyite products, its main chemical composition: Al2O3 50% - 70%, ZrO2 20% - 40%, the rest is SiO2. The main mineral composition is baddeleyite (ZrO2), corundum (α-Al2O3) and glass phase. Baddeleyite crystals form the backbone of brick, ZrO2 high melting point (2715 ℃), good chemical stability, strong anti-erosion ability to acid and alkaline medium, especially to resist molten glass. With increasing of ZrO2 content, the AZS brick performance corresponding improve, generally, according to the amount of ZrO2, AZS brick can be divided  into several levels, such as 33%, 36%, 41% three grade, also 30%, 40%, 50% grade, this is not uniform. Currently use more is 33% of the zirconium-containing product, which is having a density of 3.65-3.7g / cm3, the maximum operating temperature is about 1700 ℃. AZS brick is used in the glass melting furnace and other industrial kilns, glass melting furnace using is in the upper part of the masonry wall, arch small stove, small furnace stack,  tongue arch and parapet, etc.
