Zircon corundum brick

Zircon corundum brick also name AZS bricks( alumina zircon silica ),according to the ZrO2 content difference ,can be named AZS 5.5 ,AZS 12 .AZS 36, AZS 33, AZS 41 and so on. Beside because this type bricks are produced by special electric furnace by model, we also called this products Fused cast AZS bricks. Also according to the brick if have shrinkage cavities, we call them PT, QX, ZWS, WS.

These bricks are widely used for iron & steel furnace and glass furnace, also chemical industrial furnace, especial in the glass furnace, you will find it usually.

Description

Characters and Application

PT

Normal Cavity

It is the accustomed cast method and cavities are located under the mouth of casting. It is used for top of the glass melter and work pool, also the parts with low temperature connected to glass.

QX

Oriented Cavity

Using this method, the shrinkage cavities focus on the outside of one end of the brick, and the other end is entirely compacted. When being used, the compacted part is upward, while the casting nozzle is outward, they are mainly used in the wall of melting tank and work pool.

ZWS

Cavity Free

Using this method, there are a few left shrinkage cavities, and the bottom is completely compacted, it is similar with WS. when being used, the end of shrinkage cavity is downward, the other end is upward, it is well used of melting tank.

WS

Reduced Cavity

Nonshrinkage cavities cast uses vertical type,Its configuration is special shrink head, The shrinkage cavities are in upper shrink head, which will be cut after anneal, the left is nonshrinkage cavity brick,therefore,it is compacted very much. when being used, the end of cast is download, the other end is upward. It is mainly used at wall bottom ,dog hole, discharge home, manifold and main parts of melting tank.
