Refractory Bricks

Auxiliary refractory materials--metal anchors and anchor brick

May 24,2017

The industrial furnace used anchor materials are mainly metal and refractory materials.Generally speaking, metal materials can be used in lower temperature environments (bellow 1100°C) above this temperature, usually using refractory materials, and representative refractory anchors are anchoring bricks.

The temperature here is not the maximum temperature of the industrial furnace, but the possible temperature at which the anchorage material may be exposed. Of course, the choice of anchor in the lining, in addition to considering the ambient temperature conditions, but also consider the characteristics of the lining structure.

(1) metal anchors. Metal anchors, generally referred to in the refractory lining body to play a support, fixed lining refractory material leased special metal structure. Mainly including lining anchor and fire-resistant anchor brick or hanging two categories.

(2) Anchoring bricks. In the design of industrial furnaces, when the thickness or load of the furnace structure is large, or the actual ambient temperature is high, the anchors in the lining are mostly anchored. Including walls and roofs.
