AZS electrocast brick, also known as fused cast AZS brick, fused zirconia corundum block, or written as cast AZS (brick). AZS represent Al2O3, ZrO2 and SiO2. There are more types of products, classified according to the ZrO2 content. Common such as 33 # fused zirconia corundum bricks. With the development of the glass industry, AZS fused bricks have become the key parts of the glass melting furnace refractories required. the resistant of corrosive liquid glass is strong.
The main material of AZS brick is industry alumina, low-grade zirconium dioxide and zircon sand, soda ash and boron auxiliary materials for the sand, the ingredients, with the three-phase electric arc furnace melting, casting, annealing, processing, testing only after becoming a finished product. Now most manufacturers change to use oxidation method to produce AZS brick. Oxidation method is using of long-arc melting and blowing oxygen into the melt and other measures to achieve. Purpose is to make brick carbon content is reduced to 0.003~0.006%. Anti-glass liquid oxidation reduction ratio (submerged arc method) production of AZS fused brick erosion index is high, the using of liquid-phase precipitation in the fused glass tiles raise the temperature of 300~400 ℃.
